Bostick Bollea
Bostick is fifteen years old and is a very obedient kid. He does very well in school, but does not have a lot of friends. The reason for this is because of his father’s reputation. He is a people pleaser and wants all people to be happy. The problem with him being a people pleaser is he always wants his dad to be happy, and loves him approval. However deep down inside Bostick does not agree with his fathers ways. Bostick walks very fast as if some he really needs to be somewhere all the time(like something is chasing him). He has brown hair, but his hair has a bleach white streak down the middle of his hair. Bostick always wears a necklace that was his Grandpa’s. This is sacred to him because he was a firm believer in his Grandpa’s ways, and beliefs.

Pathos

Bostick gets home from school after an exhausting day. Oz then goes to his son and asks if he could talk to him for a moment. “Of course father!” Bostick replies.
Bostick though he was going to be talking about his day at school. However his father just wanted to talk about how Bostick should run the Emerald City once it is his turn to. Oz goes into detail about how special, important, and wonderful being the ruler is. Then Oz begins to talk about how important is to have his wishes live on. Bostick does not believe in his fathers ways, but he wants to please his father because Bostick loves to have his fathers approval.
